I grew up in the neighborhood where this playground is located.
Throughout my adolescence I spent a lot of time at this park with my friends and family.
This was the place where I ran and climbed as a child, and the place where I particpated in fruit wars
and played frisbee with friends as a teenager.
Soon I graduated and went off to college, and my family moved away from the neighborhood.
Years later, I found myself in the area, and I decided to stop and visit the playground again.
I thought about all the cherished memories that this place held while I sat on a bench in the shade.
As I reminisced, I realized something.
After all this time, the only thing that had changed was me.
Some people say that one's pet reflects who they are as a person.
I explored this idea by photographing different dogs with their owners in order to study their
body language and facial expressions.
I chose not to include the owner's face in each photo because I believe that their pets acted as
a window into their soul.
I wanted to focus on what each animal is conveying with their personality and what it tells us about the pair.
